    Why Invisible Fortnite Names Work

The Hangul Filler character (U+3164) is a special Korean Unicode character that displays as a visible blank space. Unlike regular spaces which Fortnite filters out, this character is treated as a valid letter by most gaming platforms.

This means you can have a username that appears completely blank or invisible to other players, while still meeting Epic Games' requirement for display names to contain at least one character.

    Fortnite Invisible Name FAQ

Is using an invisible name against Fortnite rules?

Using Unicode characters for usernames is not explicitly prohibited, but Epic Games reserves the right to change display names that they consider inappropriate or confusing. Use at your own discretion.

Why isn't my invisible name working?

Epic Games occasionally updates their character filters. If one character doesn't work, try using multiple characters together (2-3) or combining the invisible character with a regular letter.
