    When Word's Counter Isn't Enough

Word's sentence counter may not work perfectly for:

    • Text with abbreviations (Dr., Mrs., etc.)
    • Decimal numbers (3.14, 99.9)
    • Multiple sentences per paragraph
    • Text copied from PDFs or websites

For more accurate sentence counting, especially with complex formatting or when you need to count sentences in text outside of Word, use the sentence counter tool above.
