Is this tool secure? Does my text get stored?

All text processing happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your text never gets uploaded to any server or stored anywhere. Once you close the page, your data is completely gone.

What is the maximum text size I can process?

The tool can handle up to 100,000 characters (approximately 50 pages of text). For very large texts over 50,000 characters, Auto-Clean mode is automatically disabled to ensure smooth performance.

What keyboard shortcuts are available?

Press Cmd+Enter on Mac or Ctrl+Enter on Windows to clean your text instantly. Press ESC to clear all text from both input and output areas.

Does it work offline?

Yes. After the page loads once, the text cleaning functionality works completely offline. Since all processing happens in your browser, you don't need an internet connection to clean your text.

Can I format paragraphs and preserve formatting?

The tool is designed to clean and standardize text. If you need to remove line breaks within paragraphs, use our Remove Line Breaks tool. You can also try our Case Converter for text formatting.

How do I remove HTML tags from text?

Use our dedicated Remove HTML Tags tool, or enable the Remove HTML tags option in the main text cleaner. Both will strip all HTML markup while preserving the text content.
